It's the most wonderful time of the year! It's exam time and final  semester projects time. It's time for Christmas carols, decorating, and  shopping galore. It's winter break time for us as a school; time for our  students, and faculty and staff alike, to spend more time with family and loved ones. And, it's time to give! As a  school, we want to acknowledge those who have given and readily give so  much to our work on a daily basis, our faculty and staff who  continuously go above and beyond to ensure our students experience an environment of love, acceptance, and affirmation. We want to  acknowledge our parents, who give us the trust of caring and providing a  living and learning environment for their children. And, we want to  recognize our students, young people in the vibrancy of adolescence, willing to take risks, explore and challenge, but deeply  supportive of each other and appreciative of the gifts we fight to  provide them daily.

It's the most wonderful time of the year because it is a season of  giving. Our work would not be possible without a donor community that  gives consistently! This is the power that has sustained our impactful  work for more than a century and remains a sustaining source today. The generosity and investments of our donor community is  powering advancements in technological capacity for every student, new  student-driven, student co-designed campus housing, and a soon to be  erected solar field as a part of our farming enterprise. The support we receive ultimately yields success for every student (and  faculty and staff member) who shares the immense privilege of calling  our campus "home." Last year, 96% of our graduating class was admitted  to a college, university, or other post-secondary training and educational institution.

So, during this season of giving, we embody a spirit of gratitude,  and say thank you! On behalf of all of the students, faculty, staff,  board, administration, and alumni of The Piney Woods School, we thank  you, one and all!

Merry Christmas, and may God shine upon you and bring you His prosperity in the New Year!
