A student bank is available
for students to make any of the following transactions:
·
withdraw or deposit funds
·
cash money orders and cashier’s checks
·
withdraw cash using debit or credit card
·
make change
·
make payments for lost books, I.D.’s, etc.
You may send
funds for your child’s account via money order, cashier’s check, debit or
credit card, or personal check. If a
personal or business check is presented for student deposit, the check will be
ran through Telechek services and, if approved for payment, 5% surcharge will
be applied. If you need to deposit funds
into your child’s account immediately, you may contact the Office of Fiscal
Affairs at (601) 845-2214, ext. 250, and a debit or credit card (Visa,
MasterCard, American Express, and Discover) transaction may be done to ensure
that funds are instantly available to your child. A 5% service charge will be included into the
total amount of the charge.
Deposits must be
completed by 10:00 a.m. on banking days so the funds will be available to the
student immediately. Deposits made after
10:00 a.m. are considered next banking day’s business.
Hours of Operation for Student Banking are:
Wednesday and Friday 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
