Agricultural Work and Farm

Students working on The Piney Woods School farm and grounds are responsible for the following:

• Maintain/manicure grounds and farm facilities including lawns, shrubbery, flowers, crops, fences and livestock.
• Assist with carrying out proposed plans for yard/farm maintenance and landscaping.
• Assist with caring for livestock, including feeding, keeping records, giving shots, ear notching, shearing and tagging for identification purposes.
• Conduct research projects as needed.
• Perform other related functions requested by supervisor or administrative staff.
