In order to use this free shuttle services provided by PWS, students must adhere to the approved check-out procedures, and the following must occur:
- A “paper” ticket is forwarded to the Assistant Head of School. The students will be required to show this ticket before being allowed to check in at the ticket counter. Tickets can be one-way or round-trip.
- “Electronic” ticket information needs to be e-mailed or faxed by the parent or guardian to the Assistant Head of School. The Assistant Head of School will attach either the “paper” ticket or the itinerary for the “electronic” ticket to the approved checkout form before sending the checkout form to the residence hall. The residence `hall staff person is responsible for giving the student(s) the “paper” ticket that is available.
- Same-day ticket purchase means the students will have the money to pay for their ticket at the ticket counter upon arrival at the airport, bus station, or train station.
NOTE: The school has no way of knowing when students are going to be flying on “standby” and discourages parents from making “standby” arrangements. Also, the airlines do not allow a minor child and/or a student who requires an escort to fly during the evening hours or at night. It is the parents’ responsibility to pay for escort services; therefore, the fees charged should be paid when the tickets are purchase
Students’ Responsibilities
