1909 Fund (Annual Fund)

The 1909 Fund is our top fundraising priority. The Piney Woods School relies on annual campaign gifts to provide unrestricted support for the institution’s yearly operating budget, which includes resources to attract and maintain exceptional teachers; to enhance academics, student life, and athletic programs; to provide necessary information technology, library facilities, and special programs; as well as provides a safe living and learning environment for our students.

Participation Counts!

Meeting our financial goal is vitally important, but percentage of participation can be even more important. We strongly urge every member of The Piney Woods School community to participate. One very good reason to do so is to improve our chances of securing funding from foundations. Percentage of participation in the school’s annual campaign by our Board of Directors, alumni, faculty, staff, and friends is frequently weighed in a foundation’s review of grant proposals.

Gifts to the annual campaign are tax deductible!

Contributions to the institution are fully tax deductible for the tax year in which the gift was made.
