The Parent Fund

Welcome Piney Woods Parents!

Parents and families of Piney Woods students are an important part of our community, and we welcome your participation and input. As an independent boarding school, The Piney Woods School receives no financial support from local, state, or federal governments. Contributions to the Piney Woods Parent Fund (an arm of the School’s annual 1909 Fund) are applied to the School’s operating budget and help to bridge the gap between tuition and the actual cost of a Piney Woods education. Gifts to the Parent Fund also support acquisitions for the library, athletics, information technology, the purchase of lab and technological equipment, renovations-and of course, financial aid. Making an annual gift to the Parent Fund has direct and immediate benefits to your child, Piney Woods faculty and the School’s programs.
