The Piney Woods School extends its heartfelt gratitude to every alumnus, class, and supporter who participated in the Alumni Challenge.
Together, our alumni raised $4,680, demonstrating the generosity, enthusiasm, and enduring connection that continue to define the Piney Woods family. This initiative was about more than fundraising—it created an opportunity for alumni across generations to reconnect, represent their classes, and invest in the future of the school.
We are proud to recognize the following classes for their outstanding participation and support.
Top Fundraising Classes
First Place: Class of 1990
The Class of 1990 led the challenge, raising $538.70.
Second Place: Class of 2013
The Class of 2013 raised $517.75, finishing close behind in second place.
Third Place: Class of 1997
The Class of 1997 secured third place with $406.25 raised.
Additional Class Recognitions
Highest Class Participation: Class of 2001
With seven unique donors, the Class of 2001 had the highest level of participation.
Class Spirit Award: Class of 1999
The Class of 1999 was recognized for its enthusiasm, pride, and visible support throughout the challenge.
Alumni Reconnection Award: Class of 1993
The Class of 1993 welcomed the highest number of new donors, helping expand alumni involvement and reconnect more graduates with Piney Woods.
Legacy Participation Recognition: Class of 1957
The Class of 1957 was the earliest graduating class represented in the challenge and contributed $300—a meaningful reminder of the lifelong connection shared by Piney Woods alumni.
