The Piney Woods School is proud to announce Brandon Lewis (Class of 1996) as a distinguished honoree speaker for this year’s Founders Weekend. Brandon’s journey at Piney Woods began in January 1994, where his talent, humor, and charisma quickly made him a beloved member of our school community. Known for his masterful impressions of staff members, Brandon’s creativity and personality left an indelible mark on all who knew him.
After graduating from Piney Woods, Brandon continued to chart his own course, graduating from Alabama State University and pursuing a career that reflects both his talent and his dedication to community. His journey is a shining example of braving uncharted territory, embracing individuality, and forging a path that inspires others—mirroring the Piney Woods mission to empower students to discover their purpose and achieve their potential.
Brandon’s story resonates with this year’s theme, “A Legacy of Braving Uncharted Territory,” exemplifying how Piney Woods nurtures leaders who innovate, take risks, and impact the world. In celebrating the legacy of our founders, Laurence C. Jones and Grace Jones, Brandon embodies the courage, creativity, and resilience that define the Piney Woods experience.
Join us in welcoming Brandon Lewis as we honor his achievements and the enduring impact of Piney Woods alumni who continue to break new ground.
