🌟Learner Spotlight: Soana Agasaro – Embodying PWS Values On Campus and Beyond🌍📚

This summer, Soana Agasaro took an inspiring step in her journey of learning and leadership by attending the St. Albans School of Public Service for a month-long program focused on the meaning and practice of public service in today’s world.

During the program, Soana engaged deeply with case studies that challenged her to think critically about morality and the ways historical events continue to shape contemporary society. She also participated in hands-on simulations, including a Supreme Court simulation, a bill project simulation, and a George Washington simulation, stepping into real-life roles that helped her better understand complex governmental and civic processes.

Soana reflected that these experiences not only broadened her perspective but also strengthened her analytical and problem-solving skills. “Through these activities, I had the opportunity to better understand many complex concepts,” she shared.

The program also offered exposure to accomplished speakers who shared their journeys in public service and introduced learners to a wide array of resources and opportunities.

Beyond the academic rigor, Soana embraced the chance to explore new experiences, from laser tag to outdoor movies, adding an element of fun and adventure to her summer.
