Senior Banners Arrive as the Class of 2026 Prepares for What’s Next

The Class of 2026 has reached another meaningful milestone in their Piney Woods journey.
This week, our seniors received a special surprise as their senior banners arrived on campus. In a moment filled with smiles, laughter, and excitement, students unboxed their banners and saw their names, faces, and accomplishments reflected back to them — a visible reminder of how far they have come and all they have overcome.
Soon, these banners will be displayed along Highway 49, celebrating each member of the Class of 2026 and honoring the resilience, hard work, and determination that have carried them to this moment.
For Piney Woods, these banners are more than a senior tradition. They are a public celebration of our learners’ journeys — the late nights, the lessons learned, the challenges faced, and the growth that has taken place here on our historic campus. Each banner tells a story of perseverance, promise, and purpose.
As part of this celebration, seniors also shared brief reflections on where they are headed after Piney Woods — offering a glimpse into the bright futures that await them beyond our campus. From college plans to career aspirations and new opportunities, their next steps reflect the foundation they have built through Head, Heart, and Hands.
For almost 117 years, Piney Woods has prepared young people to move forward with courage, character, and confidence. As the Class of 2026 prepares to take their next steps, we pause to celebrate not only where they are going, but everything it has taken for them to arrive here.
