The Piney Woods School Welcomes Rahim Lockhart as Learning Leader

ree

The Piney Woods School is proud to welcome alumnus Rahim Lockhart (Class of 97) back home as our new Learning Leader in Government and African American Studies.  A third-generation legacy student, Lockhart follows in the footsteps of his grandmother, Ruby McAfee, who graduated from Piney Woods in 1927. His return marks not only a professional milestone, but a powerful full-circle moment rooted in history, heritage, and commitment to The Piney Woods mission.

Lockhart brings more than 23 years of nonprofit experience, having served in impactful roles with organizations such as the Boys and Girls Clubs, Big Brothers Big Sisters, and Striving Children of Rural Environments. His work has been grounded in developing youth, strengthening families, and building opportunities for communities often overlooked or underserved.

In addition to his nonprofit leadership, Lockhart has 18 years of coaching experience, ranging from grassroots programs to NCAA Division I coaching. His broad coaching and player development expertise was strengthened by his professional basketball career, competing in both the NBA G League and multiple international leagues.

A proud husband and father, Lockhart has been married to his wife, Tarrah Lockhart, for 26 years and together they share four children.

At Piney Woods, Lockhart will lead efforts to deepen relationships with community partners, expand engagement opportunities, and strengthen the school’s visibility and impact. With firsthand knowledge of the transformative power of The Piney Woods School and a proven career in service, Lockhart is uniquely positioned to inspire both current students and the wider community.

We are thrilled to welcome him back home and look forward to the leadership, heart, and vision he brings to this role.

If you want to learn how to play Geometry Dash effectively, start with the easier levels and master the basics. The game rewards players who pay attention to patterns—once you memorize a section, clearing it becomes extremely satisfying.
